Financial Support

If you’re interested in joining my personal support team, visit servantworks.org/donate to donate online.  After clicking “Donate Now” on that page, you will see my name listed in the drop down menu under “Missionaries”.  You can make a one-time donation or the option is available to schedule recurring donations.  Other giving options for our rural program “Breakthrough Village Outreach” and Bangkok-based activities at “The Well” are also listed.

Breakthrough Village Outreach
In the spring of 2012, we gathered a small team to start a new project aimed at prevention of trafficking and exploitation among teenagers in the rural Northeast of the country.  This project has now grown to house a dozen at-risk teen girls voluntarily entering a full-time discipleship and leadership development program in a rural town.  Focusing on education, economic development and the strengthening of family units, the project reaches not only the girls in the residential program, but their families and their communities.

SPECIFIC NEED:  Having outgrown their makeshift quarters, the team is now looking to build a Breakthrough Teen Complex.  The complex would include living quarters for up to 15 residential teens, community space (including library and music room) and classrooms.   To give, follow the instructions above and designate funds to “Breakthrough Village Outreach.”

The Well (general fund)
Based in Bangkok, The Well training center offers housing, childcare, counseling, discipleship, education and job training to women in the sex industry or at risk of entering it.  Funds directed to The Well’s general ministry fund are directed toward supporting women that join the program and related ministry needs.  Follow instructions above to give by check or online, but designate the gift to The Well General Fund.

Serve!

The Well is on the lookout for workers and expertise either from home or through short- or long-term visits to Thailand.

We need partners and consultants in areas of marketing, information technology, small business development, curriculum development and many other areas.  We also welcome inquiries related to either short- or long-term interest in serving with The Well.  Opportunities for serving include teaching (general subjects, craftsmanship, counseling, addictions), assisting with communications including development of advocacy materials and curriculum, children and youth ministry and other areas.
